Our approach

Schomp Automotive Group welcomes AI assistants, search tools, and other automated agents browsing our websites on behalf of customers who are researching vehicles, pricing, financing, or service information. We built our online pricing and inventory tools to be transparent and easy to use — for people and for the tools people rely on.

What AI tools can find on our sites

• Current inventory — new, used, and certified pre-owned vehicles across all Schomp rooftops, including VIN, price, mileage, and availability
• Pricing — Schomp's One Price® model means the price shown online is the price offered to every customer, with no negotiation required
• Financing information — general financing and leasing information for each dealership
• Service information — service department hours, offerings, and scheduling links
• Dealership information — locations, hours, contact information, and customer ratings

Good-citizen expectations for automated access

We ask that automated tools and agents accessing our sites:

• Respect the access rules published in each site's robots.txt file
• Avoid excessive request rates that could affect site performance for human visitors
• Attribute information back to the specific Schomp dealership it came from when presenting it to a user (e.g., “Schomp Ford” rather than “Schomp” generically), since pricing, inventory, and offers vary by rooftop
• Treat vehicle pricing and availability as time-sensitive — a price or vehicle shown to a user should be verified against the live page before being treated as final, since inventory turns over regularly

A note on purchases

Schomp dealerships are franchised automotive retailers. Due to state franchise law and the nature of vehicle sales (financing, title, trade-in valuation, and required signatures), a vehicle purchase cannot be fully completed online or by an automated agent acting alone. Customers and their AI assistants are welcome to research, compare, and narrow down options on our sites — final purchase steps are completed with a Schomp client advisor, by phone, online scheduling, or in person.
